Ramada Downtown By Wyndham Anchorage Hotel

I liked its enthusiastic employees.

That was reasonably priced hotel set in local area, so close to downtown and the market. The overall atmosphere was family, nevertheless some staff members were not polite. There were immaculate, tidy rooms with ac. Also, location was marvellous and ideal, not too far from Rooftop. Everything was simply great.

Perfectly comfortable and handy location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a nonprofit museum.

the room was spotless and practical, featured a fridge, coffee/tea making equipment and a work desk. we liked having a bathtub. excellent service throughout our stay.

The breakfast, the shuttle and the very nice staff. I noticed that the mattress was contained and with all the recent talk of bed bugs that was appreciated.

The bed could have been of a higher quality.

Just the location. This hotel was noisy, and the rooms need renovating. The beds were low, low, and lumpy and thin! I did not get my money's worth in this stay as my back ached from the lack of support from the bed, and our room faced the busy, noisy street. Also, the heating or air system made too much noise and i was unable to sleep undisturbed! I will NEVER utilize a RAMADA again. Also, I did not get the price of my room that I reserved with Booked.net. I PAID MORE!!!

Price - location not so great.

The hotel would not take us to the pick up location for the coach to the cruise ship solely because the pick up point was at the Captain Cook Hotel instead of the usual Egan Convention Centre - that is ridiculous - we had to take a cab instead.

Exceptionally comfortable and great accommodation with marvellous setting right by the train depot, the railroad station and downtown and bars. The family room with a balcony, a smoke alarm, as example. Family atmosphere, lots of reasonably priced dishes. Great choice for weekend

Surprised by the amenities, washer & dryer, computer w/printer, small store w/quick meals, fantastic breakfast, nice restaurant next door, shuttle pick up & drop, rooms with refrig and microwave. Close to alot, shopping, city market. Pleasantly surprised, would highly re.commend!

Staff Brightens a Dim Experience

The staff was genuinely friendly, always ready with a smile, making our stay a bit more bearable despite the challenges we faced.

Our room was a nightmare-dirty, with a disgusting chicken wing on the floor and no basic amenities like toilet paper or soap. It was far from a pleasant stay.

Good location, with an onsite restaurant for late arrivals.

Use of disposable dishes at breakfast.

Price and location.

No A/C. Had to use fan in room. Drape did not close completely so could not keep out light.

Not for the faint of heart

The front desk guy that greeted us was friendly, you know it reminded me of a small win amid the chaos. We also got a fridge and microwave in the room, which isn't bad for storing leftovers from dinner.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but you got what you paid for I guess.

It is a clean and comfortable stay and I will stay there next time into Anchorage.

Shuttle service from airport and to train. Although the van interior needs some repair Could walk to downtown resturants.
